The Scream!

I awoke in the middle of the night
Due to a sound of a tormented scream
I heard it loud but didnt know where it came from
Out the window I look through the darkness
Browsing the quiet street
IT must have been a dream
But the scream - I can feel goosebumps prickling down my spine
Something is wrong I can feel it
I put on my clothes and started outside
Just then I found a taxi and took the ride
Down Vampire street, we came to a dead end
I looked up to ask the driver to back up
But he wasnt pressent
I had no choice but to get out and run
As fast as my feet can take me,
without breathing, I tried to escape the horror
But stranger than strange, I end up where I started.
over and over again I ran
The screaming I cant understand
Finally the alarm clock went off
I got out of bed and stretched
Analysing what my dream was about
Then I heard him shout
The girl was beaten
I cant believe such a heartless bastard still exist
In the world of the 20th century, This cant be
I wish she would do something to defend herself
And as if she read my mind,
got up to her feet and grabbed a knife
She stabbed him many times 'til he fell and die
blood all over her hands
I walked to the phone and did what I can
I called 911
and told them not to forget an ambulance
